Dave Rietsema founded Matchr after 10 years in the HR industry. Dave began his HR career in retail and eventually made his way to the education industry where his last job was VP of HR. While working in the HR field, Dave experienced firsthand how frustrating the search for HR software can be. He knew there had to be a better way to find the right program for his business needs – and he wanted to help streamline this process for other HR professionals, too. Dave founded HR Payroll Systems in 2012 in Orlando, Florida. In 2021, the company changed its name to Matchr. this is the start.
In 2024, after more than a decade of helping HR teams find the right software, we launched HRinsidr – a natural next step in our mission to support HR professionals beyond the buying decision. HRinsidr is a modern newsletter publication that delivers timely, relevant HR news straight to your inbox. HRinsidr also hosts live monthly webinars featuring top industry experts, giving professionals access to real-time education, insights, and actionable takeaways that help elevate their HR strategy.
